From 2015 to 2018 I worked as a designer at the Gnomon School for Visual Effects in Hollywood, called the "MIT of Visual Effects". I had been a student of the school several years earlier when I first moved to LA, so it was a very important moment to me to return to that school to work on staff -- and I even got the chance to teach a class while I was there.
One of the biggest projects we worked on at Gnomon while I was there was creating a large informational booklet to explain the very specific nature of the visual effects industry and where the school itself fits into that. This was a map of (at the time) where all the biggest VFX studios and other icons of the entertainment industry were in LA in relation to the school. It was a two-page spread in the booklet.
One of the most common things I made assets for at Gnomon were for promoting the events on campus, whether they be visiting artist talks or annual student artwork gallery shows.
Another important asset I created for Gnomon was an infographic showing the entire curriculum of classes and what practical jobs they could be applied to in the entertainment industry. This was printed as a large folding brochure that the admissions department could show to possible students or parents of students to help them understand their future education.
